Definitely not a griddle. Even the Camper manual cautions against such use. That's what's wrong with mine now. I wouldn't need the mounting hardware as I already have one in place ... it's just discolored and warped from improper use. If you do have one that hasn't been subjected to the burners, I'd appreciate you letting me know. Thanks, Mike
