I used one to install an indicator bulb for the Differential lock...but that's probably not applicable to you. On my '84, there was an extra conductor in the foil, all I had to do was trace it out to a connector under the dash and add my sensor circuit there. Solder another LED onto the foil, add the resistor, you're ready to go. The cool part about it is you can scrape away the black coating with a sharp knife, like that scratchboard stuff in middle school art class. I did this to etch the letters "DL" next to the light. It <<almost>> looks stock! Cheers, Jeff -----Original Message----- From: kevin obrien
Hello All: I've wondering if anyone has ever found any use for the two "empty" warning lights located below the the Oil and Battery warning lights in the dash console (I have a 1990 Carat). Any cool ideas for these? Happy Monday.... Kevin |
