Subject: Power Steering hose with new hydraulic hose
Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

I just removed the old metal power steering lines on my 89 Westy with a new hydraulic hose for the high pressure side and a fuel line for the return line. I used 12' for both. The extra 6" from members suggestion last week was perfect and alloyed me to do a nice "loop" after the front steering body valve.

I got the hoses from a local Hydraulic Hose seller. ($85 CAN) It was a little difficult to find somebody with Metric connectors but heavy machinery dealers have them. The hydraulic hose is rated 5000 lbs. (Much higher than our system after checking with my local Volk dealer) Very easy repair. Thanks again for your help last week. Joel
