Describe the light. If it is the MIL (maintenance indicator/check engine light) your choices are to get a book to determine how to obtain and read the codes, change parts until the light goes out, or pay some one to do it for you. The 94 is pre OBD2 so the aftermarket codes readers are limited. The car knows something is wrong so it should get fixed.

Does anyone out there in our huge list have a 90's era Nissan Sentra that still has the manual? Our 94 has a warning light on that we cannot ID due to our manual having been stolen many years ago when the car was broken into. When I called the local Nissan dealer, they told me to "bring it in so they can check it out" - NO thank you!! I figure maybe somebody on this list also has one of these great little cars that seem to run forever with no problems (unlike our VW's!).

Thanks!
