OK, Now we can get some help. Some where in the conversion, you do not have the warm up idle system working. You either need to graft the 87 idle speed regulator set up to the 84 system or install the much simpler auxiliary air regulator from the 84 system. The simply bolts to right side head and gets 12v power when the engine is running. This power could be tapped form the ignition coil or fuel pump. You will need some hoses and tees. Basically AAR allows air to bypass the throttle to provide a faster idle during warm up. If all is well, the engine will idle on its own when cold, and it should not stall even during the warm up process. Also, if you have the AC on, you will need the bypass solenoids to increase the idle speed when the AC clutch is engaged.

Dennis, It takes ~4 to 5 minutes to warm up enough so that you can drive down the road w/o stalling at a stop sign. It seems that during this period the idle hovers to around 500 rpm. However, once it warms up enough I have no problems and the idle gets up to ~900 rpm. I then have no problems with stalling. This is, in a nutshell, the problem. Thanks. james
