Any know a good source for alternator brushes? Not the entire regulator, just the brushes. I have several regulators, that these burshes are just soldered in, and can be easily replaced. I also have a few that are welded in, and would not be as easy. The brushes I need measure 5mm x 8 mm by about 3/4" with a wire lead of about 1 inch. OR 5/16" x 13/64" x 3/4" .... The other solution would be to machine down a bigger set. I've never tryed machining a carbon brush, but I see no reason why It could not be done. ERic
