Subject: Problem fixed - air leak
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

I mentioned once that the 1.9 liter blue 84 ran poor when cold. That I could hear an air leak that I couldnt' find.

You know that bolt on the top of the right intake manifold, the one that hold the coolant pipe down that goes across the top of the engine in 84's?

It had broken loose of the intake manifold and left a hole underneath it. I couldn't see the hole, didn't know it was there.

I was checking the throttle body hosing and those hoses and could never find the leak.

I drove the thing for over a year running like crap when cold. Wow what a difference now. Smooth and more power.
