Brian,

Strangely enough, a spark plug will fit just fine, at least until you get a real plug to replace it...

Hi List,

I have an 84 Westy on which I recently resealed the heads and replaced the old rusty exhaust system (hurray!). I got a new catalytic converter from the Bus Depot that has a port in it for an Oxygen senor. Well, I don't need to put an O2 sensor there, as there is already one in the connector pipe. Unfortunately, the plug to fill the hole that came with the cat blew out somewhere on the road. Can anyone tell me what the thread pattern is for that port, or better yet, would anyone be willing to send me something to fill it (perhaps an old unwanted O2 sensor)? Any other suggestions?

Thanks a million.

Brian
