The new cat I got from them had the same plug ... and it too blew out the first time I drove the van after installation.

All who get new cats with plugs ... make sure they're TIGHT when you reinstall them.

My solution? ... I went to a flaps and bought an oil drain plug of the same thread. That was 2 years ago and it's working fine.
