Subject: Not tacky or accusatory IMHO

I don't think it's tacky at all, if it helps to avoid this kind of thing in the future. I love Bus Depot, they're one of my favorite vendors of any kind. Ron has been very patient and helpful even in the times when I've been wrong about a low-cost part like a headlight adjuster. But they get things wrong, too, and some of their staff tends a be a little defensive about sending things back. But then they have to deal with all kinds of idiots so you can expect them to be that way.

I've had the same problems with BD mirrors, where the service desk guy didn't want to take my word for the fact the part number was not what I ordered, but wanted me to send it back so he could see. Then he decided to accept a digital picture as proof I could read numbers. Then Ron got involved and they fixed it without me doing anything. Their supplier had sent BD mislabeled product. But it turns out their picture in the catalog is wrong, so hundreds of people probably believe the picture and not the service desk guy. But it still adds up to trouble, and Ron will fix it on the next reprint.

Meantime, everybody who reads these posts knows about that problem. If it weren't mentioned, they wouldn't. So it DOES help everyone who knows about the problem.

I just don't think the poster below was out of line or personal. Frustrated, maybe.
