I have both the CD and manual. Go with the manual. Joel

We need to get a shop manual for our '85 Westy that we hope to have on the road this summer. I've been keeping my eye on eBay for a Bentley Manual and they all seem to sell for over $50 or so. I realize this is a useful book, but money is tight and I just can't spring for that right now... My husband is keen on the Bentley manual as that is what he uses for his '88 Audi and he's familiar with their format.

There are also CDs listed for sale that claim to be full shop manuals but cost less, does anyone here know if these are as good as a Bentley manual? I don't want to buy a CD and find out is junk and still have to spend the $50+ for the Bentley. We have a laptop that will travel in the Westy, so we'll always be able to access the data on the CD, so that isn't an issue...

As an FYI, here are links to some of the auctions for these CDs:

If anyone can offer some advice as to what would be my best choice, I'd appreciate it!
