Hmmmm! I guess I have had a Senior Citizen brain flatus eruption!!! :-D

I have dug into the old ( and I do mean old) memory banks, and come up with the dimmest memory of having to stop at a gas station and try and figure out what was happening to the engine in my 1985 GL with the 1.9L engine and disconnecting the idle stabilizer valve. But the event may have happened a few days after I bought my 1988 GL - which was 7 years ago - and my memory of the event has gotten scrambled together. Very disturbing - scrambled memory.

You are right. The 85 GL had the 1.9L WBX with the Digijet FI, not the Digifant, and consequently no Idle Stabilizer Valve.

Regards,

John Rodgers 88 GL Driver (with Idle Stabilizer Valve - both of us!!!!) :-)
