Brent,

I don't know about alternatives, but I recently took a dead bosch vanagon window motor to see if they could fix it. They said they couldn't rebuild it. But as someone on the list commented, anything made by a human can be fixed by a human. But you might have to find just the right human. I'll bet you end up buying a new motor with your remaining limbs, but I sure want to hear about it if you do find an alternative.
