Subject: Re: Michelin Agilis tires
Comments: To: maxjoyce@IPA.NET

I purchased a set of Agillis 8 ply tires last fall and they have been great.I have put about 3,500 miles on them so far. My 91 Westy does not follow trailer trucks all over the interstate anymore....even though I did have a good aim....i dont have to hold on to the steering wheel for dear life when a truck or bus passes me. I run at about 60-65 mph tops on the highway. Cornering also seems to be more precice and the wind drift has been cut by more than 85%. The westy still moves a little bit in real strong wind gusts but nothing like before. I read all the tire stuff in the archives before I bought my Agillis tires and i highly recommend them as a westy replacement tire. Sure there are other less expensive tires out there but these are as close to OEM as your gona get.Michelin only makes so many a year in thier product runs...so if you want em order them early. I odered mine in late August and got the last 2 from the US and the other 2 had to come from Michelin in Itally.
