So, I just finished a road test with my Eurospec (rectangular) headlights, and relay install. I also spent the time to wash out the insides of my high beam reflectors (which had looked foggy). I think a previous owner ran behind a sand truck for a long time as the glass on the high beams is incredible pitted and nicked. Hmmm,. there is also a fair amount of touch up on the front end metal too...

Anyway, I'm reasonably pleased with the performance of these...only reasonably pleased because I figure I will still have to do some tweaking down the road of properly protecting the crimped sections of wires and H4 connectors from the elements.

Of course besides being night hear on the East Coast, it is also rainy. Yet I was able to see the road clearly. Yea!

I have done a seat of the pants alignment of the headlights (trying to err on the side of too far down rather than up...The road test looks like they are pretty well placed.

Unfortunately at some point in my Westy's previious life, some of the adjusters had been damaged. All but one are still servicable. Whoever broke them attempted an ingenious repair on the one (left low beam's horizontal adjustment). They used a rubber grommet and one of those expandable plastic sleeves you stick in drywall to screw things into.

I see another busdepot order coming up....
