I've put 42,000 miles on a 84 Westy I bought 3 years ago, & have only replaced the water pump, starter(at same time), muffler, rear hatch struts, plug wires, oil, & coolant. It was a low mileage, very nice westy, that I paid good $$$ for, but it has been very economical/minimal maintenance to keep on the road. But of course I don't have power windows or steering or AC! Wish I did. Tom Buese-84 Westy-Detlef |
