Thanks to Mark, Leon, and Gerald for your excellent instructions on motor, switch, and regulator repair and replacement. I was leaning toward expensive replacement and savoring my last moments with my left leg and arm when I got your well-timed articles. Will now embark on the task of reviving what I've got in there. As to another comment on the time it takes to fix every little thing on the vanagons, including power accessories: I've actually budgeted time and money for those items on my Vanagon Multivan projects. I'm actually not much of a purist (if you've seen my website you know that already) but will replace any part with something which functions better if I can find it and it blends halfway decent. A lot of people are very surprised to find that the vanagon has luxury items like power door locks and windows and it's fun for me to keep those things up to snuff. And yes, I do prioritize the projects. I'll replace/rebuild cvs long before I start on power windows!!! Have a great weekend, Brent
