Subject: Recommended reference book? ('84 Westy)
Content-Type: text/plain;charset=iso-8859-1

Greetings All:

I am a newbie about to embark on the first of many adventures with our recently acquired '84 Westy. We are going to have the driver's side camper panel repaired--it is rusted to oblivion--but I'll be pulling out the camper gear (stove, fridge, etc.) to save $$ before the body shop pulls out the welding equipment.

I've printed out loads of advice from the achives but I'm very open to suggestion on where to look for hints. Clearly I am going to need a reference book (and they're not cheap) so my question to the list is this:

What reference book do you recommend?

1. Bentley 2. Hayes 3. VW CD-ROM (anyone what to burn me a copy?) 4. Vanagon Workshop Manual 5. Others...

Thanks for any hints.
