Probably not. Make sure you are using the correct wight of oil and a good german filter with an anti-flowback valve in it, not something from the parts store. I took someone's advice from this list and put in a pint of Marvel Mystery Oil last oil change. It can site for up to three weeks (that's as long as I've let it sit, it may go longer) with clattering.
