The German army didn't think they were too fragile, they used syncro's for a long time. My 2wd Westy has gone to Prudoe Bay and back and up many very rough logging roads in the mountains with zero ill effects. The only thing I have found to be fragile is the wiring. The wiring is the worst of any vehicle I have owned (I have never owned anything with LUCAS written on it though). John 87 Westy SVX |
