Everyone here knows that am no SPARATIST (Quebec tried twice to separate from Canada??? ask me why, i still don't know...) and i am not a very good patriot in regard of my province...everyone also so know that i have been around...most north american cities... And the winners are: -Quebec City (400+ year old) -NY (NY is NY!!!) -San Francisco -Vancouvert -Halifax -San Diego As for French, learn it men....(he he he) as i had to learn English (and i still suck!!!), noooooo, Montreal is invaded by English Folks (and was controled by them for century)... anyway, am i doinf politic now, ha ha ha... Don't worry about not speaking French, just ask Larry Chase.... we are surounded by 300 millions anglo speaking folks...so we are being slowly assimilated, ha ha ha (i know that some french speaking friends wouldn't laught reading that!!!!) As for sleeping.... my house is your house for a night or 2, or, you can also sleep in my shop surrounded by Westfalia of all year, am 10 minutes from downtown Montreal... About Ottawa....mmmmmmm.....sorry, i know that there is much to do....but as for charm, mmmmmmm..... Better go with Almonte, ha ha ha... I'll only have about 48 hours time. Any suggestions on what to see up there? (I know, that's not very much time!) I've always wanted to visit Quebec.
