Just wondering if anybody has had any experience with replacing some of the metal pipes with copper pipe? My '89 is presently in the garage waiting on a couple of these. My mechanic replaced the pipe from the oil cooler to the water pump ( the one that makes two 90 degree turns ). Now I'm wondering why he just doesn't do the same for some of the others. Am supposed to order another that goes from the top of the thermostat housing to the oil cooler. Difficult to see what kind of angle it makes as it goes down to the cooler but it certainly isn't a 180. Phil '89 Westy |
