Check/have check valves adjustment... Nothing to worry unless it's way to loose. Lasy lifter will do that... do that when the engine is cold...remove valve cover and push on the rocker (where the pushrod sit).. Follow those procedure: http://www.benplace.com/1700valves.htm Make sure you are at least 1 turn in... i did some test lately...from 0 lash to 2 turns in...no difference in compression... The oil and filter are changed every 3,000 miles and the oil looks very clean at 3,000. It takes about 8-10 minutes before the lifter quiets down. Is this something I should be concerned about?
