Subject: Re: Canada, Quebec side trip
Everyone here knows that am no SPARATIST (Quebec tried twice to separate
from Canada??? ask me why, i still don't know...) and i am not a very good
patriot in regard of my province...everyone also so know that i have been
around...most north american cities...
And the winners are:
-Quebec City (400+ year old)
-NY (NY is NY!!!)
-San Francisco
-Vancouvert
-Halifax
-San Diego
As for French, learn it men....(he he he) as i had to learn English (and i
still suck!!!), noooooo, Montreal is invaded by English Folks (and was
controled by them for century)... anyway, am i doinf politic now, ha ha ha...
Don't worry about not speaking French, just ask Larry Chase.... we are
surounded by 300 millions anglo speaking folks...so we are being slowly
assimilated, ha ha ha (i know that some french speaking friends wouldn't
laught reading that!!!!)
As for sleeping.... my house is your house for a night or 2, or, you can
also sleep in my shop surrounded by Westfalia of all year, am 10 minutes
from downtown Montreal...
About Ottawa....mmmmmmm.....sorry, i know that there is much to do....but as
for charm, mmmmmmm..... Better go with Almonte, ha ha ha...

I'll be making a quick trip out to the east coast, New hampshire,
actually and have decided to make a side trip to Ottawa and Quebec. I'll
only have about 48 hours time. Any suggestions on what to see up there?
(I know, that's not very much time!)
I've always wanted to visit Quebec. I just hope I don't starve to death
considering I only know about 3 wours of French!
