Mark, I wished there was a clear cut black & white answer. First I added a second LP take to enable me to go for longer periods of time and to prevent running out. When the first tank empties I switch over and then begin looking for a fill station the next few days. The biggest variable is what you have running off propane: Fridge, cooking, furnace .... I have all three. But as one example ... Cooking 2-3 meals a day and running the fridge 24/7 on propane I normally could go 2-3 weeks. Hope this helps. BTW ... if you want to add a second tank ... it very easy. larry chase roadhaus.com - - - Date: Tue, 3 May 2005 20:28:38 -0400 From: Mark Cumnock KAYAKWESTY@YAHOO.COM> Subject: hey Larry Chase need your experience on your long trip how did you keep propane, without running out, instead of guessing, it would @#$% to depend on the frig, then it for it to go out..... |
