It seems obvious to me that Max Wellhouse is crying out for help. Reading between the lines, it is clear that he has requested that all Listees bring our excess vans to him. Of course, this message may be unauthorized by Max, but that seems to be his chosen form of communication.

I am willing to start the ball rolling by dropping off a 1987 shell, once I remove the remaining doors, windows, and suspension parts. Who will join me in this effort to aid one of our own who is temporarily excess-van-deprived? If we Listees work together, we can help Max become van depraved.
