If you are going to install new seals then I would replace the dryer and the expansion valve (as new ones are made for R134a) and also blow out the lines and put Ester oil in the system and compressor instead of the old mineral oil. I have a kit for the A/C retrofit that includes the o-rings, fittings, and oil that you need. Also the dryer and expansion valve are on my site as well. Works very well on the newer vans (86-91).
