In a message dated 5/3/2005 5:17:35 AM Pacific Daylight Time, Greg@POTTSFAMILY.CA writes: To me, the internet is for communication. Communication with Family and Friends, and for learning about topics of interest and world events. If I'm on the road in my bus for a week at a time, I appreciate the ability to reconnect to this resource and rediscover what is going on in the world. Perhaps I have a mechanical issue to research, or I want to know how people are doing at home, or simply let folks know where we're at. It's cheap and easy to use the net to accomplish this. Hi, All, I'm still stuck in the sixty's for sure, So, excuse me if I dont quite grasp the situation.... but, If we are using a cell phone to talk to people through email on the Internet, Why not just call them? And if we have to find a WIFI connection, pull over, boot up, hook up & type up, why not just use a calling card at a pay phone? I mean, if I were way out in the forest, I can see the efficacy of a satellite phone, but still, I guess I go into the forest to get away... From all the people??? Keep it Simple...Make it Fun !!! JC...
