Hi JC,

It isn't always possible to talk to someone on a cellphone. it might be late, or there might be a difference in time zones; or whatever. Email might be less personal, but it has its uses... like sending pics, or files or....

Free wireless connections are cheaper than cellular. Flying J truck stops offer wireless internet as well.

Like Larry said, for some people the Vanagon *IS* home.
