There seems to be 3 or 4 of these companies in the US, There web sites
are pretty much the same format.
I was wondering how many weeks a year do you get rentals (if bro-in-law
has 5 vans it must be significant). If you rent 10 weeks/year that is
$7000/ year gross, of which   and insurance must take a significant
bite - but again, how much?
My mechanic (peter of volkscafe) says 'you don't want to loan out your
vanagon - this is not a dodge van, they are fragile' so we are talking
a rental (they don't say "it's a rental" for nothing.
I have been thinking about this kind of business myself - but I can't
quite talk myself into it.
any input/ideas from the GREATer Vanagon society?
