Subject: towing a westfalia
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

hi list,

sorry i pose this question here but the page on btdt doesnt load on my computer. as i wrote in my last mail we bought a vanagon in SoCal and now need to get it into southern oregon. we have friends driving this route on the weekend with a navigator so they could tow but we need a trailer or something, since our enclosed trailer only has an interior height of 74" i looked on u-haul but their trailers are for max 4000 pound cars and their dollies for max 3900pounds. i read the westfalia is 5200pound? or am i mixing up full and empty weights here? any ideas where i can get the equipment before i pump $650 in a commercial shipper?

thanks florian
