Hmm. I'm not sure how valuable that will be...

The regulator, if I'm correct, is supposed to maintain constant pressure >after< the tank. If you splice into the lines that are under the sink you are connecting after the regulator, so the gauge should always read the pressure that the regulator is set for...up to the point there isn't any propane left in the tank anymore...

To have a reliable gauge reading

, you'd need to put in a Tee BEFORE the regulator (and bring up a new propane line from that Tee up to your gauge. And that would essentially be an unregulated propane line in your "living" quarters. That would seem to be a bit unsafe to me (not sure what the rules on that would be.)
