Al, 48 hrs is too short to do both Ottawa and Quebec. I'd focus on the old towne section of Quebec. Great shops, cafes and museums. Or .... if you time it for Frank C's Ottawa Bus Fusion Event in June .... I say do that and forget Quebec. It's one of the premiere bus events in the country. You won't be sorry. BTW ... there are a couple of good camp spots close the downtown Quebec that are either cheap or free. If interested ... let me know and I'll dig out the details. larry chase roadhaus.com - - - Date: Tue, 3 May 2005 23:49:12 -0500 From: Al and Sue Brase albeeee@MCHSI.COM> Subject: Canada, Quebec side trip I'll be making a quick trip out to the east coast, New hampshire, actually and have decided to make a side trip to Ottawa and Quebec. I'll only have about 48 hours time. Any suggestions on what to see up there? (I know, that's not very much time!) I've always wanted to visit Quebec. I just hope I don't starve to death considering I only know about 3 wours of French! Al Brase (better copy me on the mail header. I'm not sure I was successful at turning my mail back on.)
