So, this previous weekend I decided to combine two pleasures. On Friday
I drove up to Allentown Pennsylvania to dropped in at the Pinball Show
at the fairgrounds. Overnight (Friday and Saturday) I drove up I476 and
camped at Hickory Creek State Park (in the Poconos). It of course
rained or threatened to rain all Friday, Saturday and through the
morning of Sunday.

I neglected to turn on the propane heater on Friday night, so I was
colder than I had to be. Saturday I didn't make that mistake and we
were toasty through out the night. A Propex heater is a great addition.

Had a bit of an issue with getting low on coolant with my Subaru SVX
engine (I really need to deal with the lack of an overflow reservoir
for the cooland system), but part of that was the fact that I was
hauling a very non-aerodynamic trailer (think air brake) at high
speeds, over some very steep hills on I-476. In the rain. So the engine
was definitely working hard. I hate to think what that would have been
like with the stock engine.

I think a Thule carrier is in my future...
