I'm doing the same job right now. The correct size is 46 mm. A 1 13/16" socket also fits nearly perfect. I got one from Sears a while back and I'm using it now. Instead of the 3/4" drive, you can also use a BF pipe wrench directly on the socket. We have one about 30" long that breaks stubborn ones loose with ease. -Hans

Please verify the socket size needed for removal.

46 mm? Correct????

What is that in American Size and can that be done?

I plan to use a 3/4 inch. drive and an approx. 3 ft. pipe....

Thanks

Larry Georgia
