Reminds me of the then steel line that went around the front of jetta
engines making about 5 90 degree bends to get to the coolant tank.
Catastrophic engine mount failure on my sons cut that line.  I pulled out
the heavy copper M and my torch and solder and made a new one in minutes. 4
years later it had a nice green patina but was just as solid as the day I
put it in.  note that this copper was isolated from the rest of the system
by 6 inches of rubber lines at the ends.
