Taking a recent thread in a slightly different direction...

I agree that pure copper is a really bad choice for brake lines... the first link below is from copper.org, and talks about a 90/10 copper-nickel alloy for brake tubing (if copper.org isn't advocating pure copper, then it must be a bad idea). The second link is from an outfit that makes these alloy lines.

Do any of the listees out there have any experience (good or bad) with this alloy on any vehicle? I'm about to perform a total brake-line transplant on my westie, and lines that don't rust are really appealing... but I'd like to find out if anyone has real-world experience with this, or any other rust-free solution for brake lines.
