Good Afternoon, I just got the Syncro out for the first camping weekend of the year, and began the annual battle with the refrigerator. After finally getting it started, it now goes out as soon as I drive the Vanagon anyplace. Last time this was happening, I took the refrigerator out and cleaned out the propane orifice, and no more problems keeping it lit for a couple of years. Coincidentally, I bought a new gas BBQ grille which has a multiple discharge piezo starter which uses an AA battery. Has anyone on the list attempted to adapt one of these ignitors to their Dometic fridge successfully? Since I am already planning on pulling the fridge to clean the burner, this would be the time to do a conversion. I'd like to have this multiple discharge ignition so I can try to get the Fridge started without needing a month of physical therapy on my wrist from vigorous pumping. Please respond to both the list and my email, as I don't always make it through all of the daily posts. -- Thanks in advance,, Jon B Kanas Longmont, Colorado; Cultural Center of the Universe Email: kanas@qadas.com <mailto:kanas@qadas.com> Website: http://www.qadas.com/~kanas <http://www.qadas.com/%7Ekanas> AOL Instant Messenger ID: KanasColo |
