Anyway, I'm 5'9 but not very strong or athletic. For me it's a deity-send. Even with it, though, I also step on the edge of the sink cover to get actually up to the top bunk. Might I miss it some night on the way down? Certainly. But I have managed to find it on a dark night by "feel" (with the other foot resting on the edge of the sink, for insurance).
