Yes and Yes! Many rebuilders consider the flywheel or drive plate as part of the exchange. If the engine is balanced, the flywheel and even the pressure plate should be part of the balanced assembly.

Today's question: is end play specific to a flywheel? If I change flywheels, do I have to reset end play? Or, more appropriate to my situation - if a rebuilder sets end play and ships to me without a flywheel, do I have to recheck and reset?
