Hi Volks, A question for someone with ETKA, or who actually knows: both the Vanagon Syncro and at least some of the Rabbits used a similar looking coolant temp sensor that feeds the signal to the instrument panel gauge. The sensor itself has a brass taper threaded body with a black or phenolic / plastic looking insulator, and a round stem / disc connector on top where a female connector will slip on. The parts man at the VW dealer says they are different part numbers. He can't tell me if the resistance is different (i.e. he has the rabbit sensor in stock, but not the Syncro). Anyone know? Thanks, Dave -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Version: 7.0.322 / Virus Database: 266.11.12 - Release Date: 5/17/2005 |
