I just used my propane bottle filler adapter to check the fit on the internal threads of the standard fill adapter on a westy tank. (not the autostop) See pic http://westydriver.com/Temp/propaneconnect.jpg My westy tank is not mounted or able to be mounted to the van. Can someone check the angle to the westy fill port to see if a 14 oz or a 16oz bottle would fit if connected this way? I tested this just as you see it in the pic with a propane bottle attached and the valve popped right open to take a fill (in this case blow propane into the air). Or possibly just put the bottle on there and leave it but REMEMBER to REMOVE it before leaving. Jimt |
