I have installed a newr aluminum radiator in my bus and never looked back. The old radiator was copper and full of crud and deposits. Obviously the old radiotr was performing poorly because of its age. And I can't speak to the different metal qualities. I can only say I'm real please with the cooling of the new aluminum radiator and for a while I lived in the Valley were it's typically 100 for days on end in the summer. Never a glimmer of a problem so far--knock wood. Also the radiators have gotten so cheap from list vendors they could almost be replaced every time you tune up. That's coming from a guy who paid $450 for his several years back. Best, Jeff 83.5 Westy LA,CA
