You bring up a good point, Dennis. However, my engine has only 21,000 miles on it. Is it likely to have carbon build-up on the intake valves so soon? I am reluctant to introduce additives of any kind to my engine, but would it be okay to use something like Lubro-Moly Ventil Sauber or some other such valve and injector cleaner every once in a while? Can these additives harm an engine?
