We too can get them in other colors. But they would be from a different manufacturer from our tan or gray ones. Our tan and our gray canvas are European made, whereas everyone else's is U.S. made. The U.S. made canvas, while good quality, does not look particularly stock. Our European made canvas looks much closer to stock. In fact, one version we offer actually _is_ stock; it's made by the German supplier to Westfalia. The other is a lower-priced aftermarket repro of that canvas, which is so close that you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference without seeing them side by side. (It's a slightly different shade of color.) It is still MUCH more stock looking than the U.S. made version sold elsewhere (and cheaper as well). However the European ones are only made in tan or gray. If you want a different color we can supply it, but then it would have to come from the same U.S. supplier that everyone else sells. As for instructions, our canvas does come with illustrated instructions, but they follow the factory-recommended procedure, which is to remove the poptop first. Many people have had good luck replacing the canvas without removing the poptop (a fact that is referenced in our instructions but not covered in depth). However, it has been covered on the list a few times, so I'm sure it's in the archives. - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc. www.busdepot.com (215) 234-VWVW _____________________________________________ Toll-Free for Orders by PART # : 1-866-BUS-DEPOT |
