My entire gas system in my van has been modified.

One of my adaptions before I did my final phases was a T fitting in the line
under the sink that fed the stove. (same could be done for the fridge)  on
that T fitting I put a fitting that led to a quick disconnect fitting.  Then
in a kit I had a short hose that on the end was the standard BBQ tank
fitting and with it was an adapter available from the same places.  I could
hook up either my 5 lb tank with the standard fitting for use the 1 lb
disposable tanks with the adapter.  You could do a variation on this with
the westy tank as the split to the separate lines for fridge and stove are
at the regulator on a T there.  Change that to a straight flare fitting and
line to get up inside and then put a T fitting there and one just up from
it.  Have your connection on the first T as well as the feed to the second T
which will feed both the stove and the fridge.  You will need a cap for the
fitting you would be using for aux fuel feed or a quick disconnect added.
The fuel source you add will also need to be regulated.

My current propane setup doesnąt use the westy tank and it has been removed.
I use either the 1 lb bottles or my 5 lb tank as my fuel source now on
trips.
