My suggestion is to check out every email you receive that urges you to take some action at snopes.com.

Here's the snopes article on the email under current discussion:

http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/saudigas.asp

Even the snopes urban-;legend-busting article doesn't address the blatant claim made in the setup of this email, that the Saudis are boycotting US goods.

How much US goods do they have access to, even if it is true? Are they not buying coca cola and McDonald's hamburgers? Anyway, it sounds like the kind of "fact" that all these call-to-action emails are often predicated on--"a man was awarded ten million dollars when he injured himself using a lawnmower as a hedge trimmer" and so forth.

So few of these things have turned out to be true that I don't believe any of them unless I have specific information to the contrary.

For the record, I don't believe in importing so much as a drop of oil from any other country. No need to pick on the Saudis. I'd rather drive on what's grown by American farmers.
