Or...maybe I could convert my filler fitting to the POL type? That way any yocal that could fill a bbq tank could hook up to the Westy, and I could also use the little tank adapter to pass gas (or liquid) from Westy tank to disposable or vice-verse.

With my bbq to disposable adapter it acts like this: If I thread it onto a disposable, it opens the valve and propane starts coming out. I assume that it would act the same way on Jim's Westy tank. If he threads it into the Westy, won't propane start coming out? I'm picturing a sketchy operation of trying to unthread that thing from both ends to get it to shut the valves, while propane gas and/or liquid is coming out.
