Mike,

check my site for info on zipper replacement. My wife did it on ours, both mossy net and canvas.

Aw, man. I have this lovely wife who enjoys camping but is very susceptible to cool weather. Hates anything below tepid. So Job One around here is keeping her happy. Happy wife, happy life, as they say.

Anyhoo, I just went to close the poptop and discovered that the zipper which closes the canvas over the front opening is toasted. About three inches of toast. 12'' up one side. The tape has separated from the coil. There's nothing to sew to, nothing to do except, I guess, pull the canvas and have a new zipper installed by a tent maker. Or get new canvas, which totally frosts my pumpkin because this canvas is just fine.

Maybe there is some kludge that will let me close the canvas w/o using a zipper . . .

Comments, sympathetic laughter, all appreciated.
