Two immediate possibilities.

1) Loose CV bolts 2) Bad CV's

Get it up on a rack and check those bolts. I've had this problems 3-4 times over the years. It will cause a knocking noise that makes yu think for all the world a CV is going to separate.

If torque OK, test run it again. If the sound is still there, it is in all probability the CV's and only pulling them will give you the clear insight you need.
